Snow City Outing

Went to snow city wif kevin n mei mei..din really spend much time there but overall it was fun.. played the slide twice n accompanied mei mei play those silly snows.. throwing them all over kevin.. :p hahahaha :p :p

Was so happy tat mei mei enjoyed the outing.. afta the snow, we went to macdonalds!! :p haha so fattening but nice :p

Star Wars Exhibition at Science Ctr

Went yesterday. The entrance into the exhibition... actualy im not a star wars fan at all.. but i thought it was interesting to look at the stuffs there like those characters n places of empires.. n pictures.. paintings.. etc.. I couldn't really judge if the exhibition was a good one.. but i felt that it was ok for me.. not too many ppl there i believe iz coz the whole thing is gona end soon in april.. :x

I took fotos n now then realised tat i did not take all 6 episodes' movie posters!!! :x arghh wat a waste. :/ but aniwae i managed to take loads of paintings.. which im posting a few here oni.. soo many.. how to post all of them here!!! :p

hahah as u can see at the top r pics of empires? or some castles or palace.. honestly as mentioned, not being a star wars fan, i seriously duno many things there in the exhibition!! but seeing kevin getting happy whenever he something there, i felt happy too :)

okie then on the 2nd row u see the "Foley Studio".. well foley (now then i noe) means sound effects.. we did a demonstration of the sounds (all combined together) by using things like fake vege in a basket, irritaing scrubs on those tin/aluminium lids.. sounds of human in pain n many others.. i was one of those doin the demo.. so funnie!! was given this yellow colored rod-like thing n inside seems to have beans or rice or somthin.. n was asked to juzt roll the thing horizontally to make some noise.. the whole thing was really interesting.. especially when the guy compared the sound effects we made, with the real sound effects they put in and lastly the real sounds from the movie itself..we had a good laugh! :D

oh n do u see the fat looking thing looking like some sexy reptile dowager lying on her couch?? haha so cute.. duno who she/he is though :p :p oh n do u see these lil orange aircrafts? so cute rite? :p duno wat they r in the movie though.. hahaha... :p

Finally a glimpse at my SHORT SHORT HAIR!!! i juz cut my hair ok..? received many comments.. good n neutral ones.. :p so far nobody tells me itz uglie.. (which i hope they have been honest!! :p) good ones r "ur new hair looks fresh n great!" n neutral ones r "i prefer ur long hair.. but still u look good in this.." :p :p kevin said i look like some mushroomie head.. :x :x haha.. i tink my hair is really too short.. but itz better for me coz i will look fresher n cleaner :p coz long hair alwaes give me loads of probs.. :p dry split ends.. silly curls at the ends.. long time to manage everyday.. phew wif this new hair i feel tat i dun have to worrie bout my hair woes animore! :p hahah sounds like some ad.. :p

okok.. now to serious things.. went to zandy grandfather's wake on fridae nite.. saw tat she was okay.. everybody else in the family was ok too.. n im relieved.. stayed there for about 2 hrs.. n saw that they has to for those rituals almost every 15 mins...seems tiring though.. aniwae today is the funeral process.. hope tat she is fine.. :x

n tiz morning went to Roy's resting plc at Serangoon (somewhere in paya lebar).. Roy was a fellow IE from my batch.. n i remembered him as a quiet n decent guy alwaes sitting at one corner.. he had a first class degree from UK.. seemed like a very intelligent guy.. still remembered him offering me some sweets when i was alone in the lab rushing project coz my home pc was down.. :x Today oni me, kev, PL, ah boon, kenneth, xin jie n sabrina went there.. heard tat andrew n matt will be goin next week.. hope he rests in peace n be blessed by God..

okokay... so so i passed my bcp exam! nothing too great..but still it was quite an achievement for me as i din really study for the exam.. :x hope tat ill pass ComGI n PGI (my next 2 papers) for me to get the CGI cert.. :p pls pls God bless me!!! :x

Itz our VERY 1ST V Dae on 14th Feb 06.. we have already arranged to meet up tat nite afta work for dinner.. :) And suddenly in the afternoon somebody came to my desk n asked if im fiona n therez flowers for me at the door.. :O

Red Gerberas, Golden Teddy Bear & "I Love U" Balloon!! :D i was sooo shocked!! coz i nv expected tat in the office!! And then i saw a card tat saes "To my dearest Brownie".. :p i knew itz Veggie!! (who else!? :p) hee.. these gifts are from Far East Flora.. think he ordered them online.. n he refused to tell me how much the whole package cost.. seems like v v expensive.. :x BUT STILL i love them!! actualli im not the kind who LURVES flowers n bears these kinda traditional vdae gifts.. but i juz love the idea of receiving them coz itz sooo full of love n tonnes n tonnes of sweetness.. :p

Kevin reserved a place at Venezia (@ Art Museum) - the place where he alwaes performs live on Wednesday nites.. :) but due to no availablity of seats we had to wait awhile even though we reached there on time at 8pm.. n the ops manager noes kev so somehow i felt that she was like "as chin chai as possible" like tat.. it was fine for us to wait awhile more but the scary thing tat silly manager wanted at first was to have us sittin wif another couple on a 4-seater table! So STUPID! some more the guy from the other couple was not too comfortable of the idea coz therz really no privacy man! n the manager thought me n kev were ok but in fact we were not at all.. n we spared a thought for the other couple also aniwae.. n tat silly woman just kept saying "Please understand me!" OMG! i duno n then somehow we were given the 4-seater table n the couple had to wait for theirs coz they din come on time..

n so me n kev went to sit there (outdoor) happily n suddenly after we have already settled dwn n wanted to order food, that stupid manager came to us again n said - (as if it is right for her to demand tat out of us) - tat she is expecting a bigger group from the airport n we had to give them our seats.. TATS SO HORRIBLE!! N TERRIBLE! N INCORRIGIBLE! she then added that she has already gotten us seats inside the restaurant. But kev din wan coz he wanted to enjoy the performance while having dinner.. so kev was like asking if i wana change restaurant. then the manager wanted to show thatz shez sincere, she said she could bring out the table n chairs but we felt awkward coz we dun wana look like we r creating a scene.. some more we kinda had enuf of her nonsense already.. so stupid rite.. itz all about her management.. but too bad it SUCKED! oopz :p i sound so crude now.. :p im sorry but itz a fact tat shez really lousi! n still i felt tat bcoz she noes kev n tatz y shez tryin to b as sui bian as possible.. so ya in the end we wanted to go off finally.. n she was about too get her waiter to bring out the table n chairs n put it at some lousi spot in the outdoor area.. everyone was looking at us.. i felt so paiseh.. n i told kev i reallie dun wana stay there animore.. he was totally fine wif it.. coz he din like wat happened there aniwae.. booooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we walked all the way to Selegie from art museum.. n finally settled to have our vdae dinner at Mr Bean's. Felt happier there even though tat place was not as comfy as Venezia.. but i felt at peace.. Mr Bean's was full but still felt tat there was "enuf space" for us..n the food was GREAT! :p i believe should b so much better than Venezia.. :p price as well..

Did some volunteer work yesterdae morning.. itz a company social visit n comprises mainly Contact Ctr staff, headed by the manager: Ms Pauline Low. Can see that the whole thing was quite a success, especially the performance n activities for the residents there.. :) There were speeches given by the CEO of Income n Chairman & CEO of the Moral Home. Oh, there's also a big HongBao presented to the home.. as Income supports the home yearly..

This heart shaped pandan sponge cake wif kaya inside from jollibean!~ so cute n sweeeet!~ gave the other 2 to marie n vivian coz cant finish as i already had bread for breakfast in the morning.. :p oopz n he bot me ALMOND soya bean milk!! oopz he noes i dun like almond.. was wondering how cum he buy almond.. aniwae later he explained tat he din noe coz he just pointed to the container n said he wanted tat one n din noe itz almond!~ :p aniwae i tried to drink about half the cup of it.. :p when he came i was on the phone.. was very shocked! well he went awae afta putting the thingz on my table.. :p must be off to some meeting at IL or CS.. bz man.. aniwae i was like smiling awae n awae n awae.. :p so crazi! :p

The specialists + ex-specialists + manager had Lou Hei (again!!) todae! this is the 3rd Lou Hei i have this yr!! hahaha so fun!~ ordered Soup Restaurant Salmon Yusheng, Sakae Sushi Package (not too MUCH though for an $84..) n KFC Fortune Fiesta Meal!~ hahaha... total 10 ppl todae :)

Just now i was surfing Xiaxue's, Junie's & Kelly's blog..OMG i love their eyes!!actually ive seen them w/o makeup, be in pictures or in real-life, and trust me their eyes are pretty already, but wif those eyeliner n mascaras, my gosh their eye make-ups are done so perfectly well!~ And it makes them EVEN OH-SO PRETTIER!~

Suddenly i wan to feel pretty everyday!~ even when i go to office every morning!~ Actually every morning ill just put on my moisturised make-up base and abit of my maybeline wonder finish liquid foundation on my face. Next will be as usual ill do my eyebrows in brown and some yellow & green eyeshadow to add some color to my eyelids. And followed by either just eyeliner to make eyes look slightly bigger or just mascara to make my eyes look brighter.. Lastly will be my Mac sheertone blusher. It seems like i put on alot of make up onto my face but IT IS NOT ENUF! coz all these are just very basic stuffs tat i need to put on my face b4 i go out! i will NEVER go out w/o make-up.. :p

Well, but from tomorrow onwards, I'll want to look prettier than ever and I'll want to make my eyes look bigger and brighter!!~ I'll also want to dress up prettier in very matching clothes and pretty shoes~ wif very beautiful accessories and smell absolutely wonderful!~ :) Er hem.. all these not to go out to seduce guys.. but to feel happier and beautiful every single day~ :)

And also with these, ill feel more confident~ :p Okay!~ so from tomorrow onwards im goin to try to take pics of myself as often as possible to see my progress in dressing up!~ :) haha.. sounds VERY SILLY but i like it!~ Girls just wan to be pretty aniway!~ :) YYAAYYY!!~~ :)

I still have 5 more days to go!~ To learn all that veggie has given me.. actually i only have 4 more lessons.. but i believe that the last day is for me to "recap" what i have learnt from the 6 lessons and really lock them in my mind.. :)

Even though now we r still in alil cold n unfriendly situation, I am still going to believe that afta these 5 more days, we will be able to start fresh n happy from then on, forever~~ :) :)

i have done the 1st part of my vdae present for him already!~ n im sooo happy!~ :) i tot the "something" isnt working!! was soo scared coz tat thing is soo expensive! tot spoilt!~ so im goin to finish up bit by bit for the 2nd part and hope vdae comes asap!~ :) cant wait to celebrate wif him!~ :)

I learnt these from the audio by Tony Robbins on Lessons in Mastery, veggie has given me.. n i took them seriously..

There are 5 elements in life's system:

1) State you are in - mentally & emotionally
2) Questions you ask youself - and what meaning you take from them
3) Values you hold
4) Your beliefs system - certainty of something
5) References - most important thing as these are where your values n beliefs come from.

Success comes around in this way:
1) Consistent increase in quality of life. You need to have decisions (control) to take action. To take action, you need to have standards & beliefs Gain access if you have no resources in your beliefs.
2) All these followed by a commitment to CANI: Constant And Never-ending Improvement. Remember that all these are not for a short period of time, but never-ending incremental improvement in every areas daily.
3) Therefore, there will be growth. And with growth, there will be profit in momentum: Satisfaction & Joy. With these we know we will be happy. And finally therefore, leads to success..

Yes i totally agree that many people always try to improve themselves, but only once in a while when they need to. It is also true that when people see improvement, they stop coz they know they have "suceeded" in something which they want to do. But still, it's only over a short period. But form these lessons, i have learnt that no matter wat, in life, we have to constantly improve ourseleves, incrementally. It's not about taking big steps to improve completely (or tremendously) at one shot. But it is about improving and growing step by step in momentum..

Eg: i wana be swim more, for the first day i swim for 1 hour, for the 2nd day i swim for 1.5 hrs, for the 3rd day i swim for 2 hrs.. n slowly increase my stamina bit by bit.. Imagine if i plunge into the pool swimming for 2 hrs at a shot for the 1st day, ill be breatheless by the time i get up and i wont wana swim for the next day..

This is something so important in every area, every aspect of our lives.. Of coz with all these, we need to have profound knowledge in our decisions and actions. By definition means, information strategies or distinctions that are simple to understand. And with these details locked inside our minds, we can be sure that we are able to have an increase in quality of our lives. And feel much happier as an individual..

A brand new life

I need to lead a brand new life now.. I am still young.. I still have one long long road to go on.. I believe I can.. with my career, my aunt&uncle, my cousins, my friends and interests.. I will be able to live my life the way I should.

I deleted EVRYTHING from my mobile phone, except phone numbers in my phonebook.. i'm not a coward, i am just being strong to throw away all the old and unwanted memories.. im still trying hard to continue to be firm.. with only one thing left to deal with.. myself..

Seriously i haven been blogging about nice stuffs these days.. Coz i had a troubled life.. n almost need to go to IMH.. i hope tat from now on, with a brand new me with brand new motivations, i will be able to achieve to become a better person.. :)

Things have been v different since 8 months ago.. u stopped all ur commitments just to be beside me... i thank u for the companionship.. but i realised tat wat u really want now is not really us..

It is time tat u need for yourself.. to develop ur dreams and achievement.. i m just a gerl who comes across in ur life to brighten up ur dull n boring times.. n to be there to give u my love..

We used to promise each other a whole load of things.. but we usually dun fulfil them.. and we tend to make some noise n cry with each other when we dun meet each other's expectations..

Often, u n i dun really understand each other.. and we just live with it.. we always tot that we r meant to be together.. but it is also mistakes we make tat we lose our faith for each other just overnight..

U n i are simply 2 different kind of persons.. bcoz we have different beliefs and goals.. i wished we can feel the same for everything.. but it is such a pity that we could now only reminisce what we used to have in the past..

haa.. i feel so bad now.. to blog about this.. but i just cant help it.. i cant afford to bottle it up n kp it inside me.. i told u about the "separation".. i tink itz silly.. tatz juzt coz i din really want to split up.. i have been looking at my hp screen the whole dae, thinking about u... i nv really wanted to "do my own things n dun tell u anitin".. i juzt love u so much tat i try my best not to look for u.. so tat u can have all the time u need to do the things u want to do..

itz been so long since i last blogged about serious stuffs...actually in the past, i will just voice out some of my thoughts and things happening in my life in my blog..but i realised tat attention has been brought about..so..decided to stop it :x

however i tot blogging is supposed to b MY own diary?? so y shld i b so afraid of how other ppl tink of me..actually v often, ppl misunderstand ppl..alot..n they choose to tink of bad stuffs instead of tryin to understand the others...im one of these ppl at times too..

aniwae i have alwaes been this weakling who was afraid of being strong enuff to overcome my fears...and in turn...all these lead me to greater problems which i have all given in to.. and only when i realise tat itz doing damage to me, i decided to quit..itz not easy..bcoz i still care..i still worry..n i still try to see if the problems r still cuming in..

each time my fear cums, my heart beats faster..itz so hard to shake it off..it took me time..even until now im still trying hard..but i have to kp my promise of not giving in animore..i have done enuff to fulfill my responsibility and i deserve my own happiness..itz very selfish for my fears to discourage me from developing my own strength and achievement..

i have so many things i wana pursue.. a bachelor degree.. my hobbies: keyboard, dance, drawing, jewellery design.. voluntary work.. savings for a secured future.. I need $$ for all these.. but my parents were unable to allow me to achieve my goals.. I always end up giving them so much money i get scolded by my aunt n uncle many times..itz right for me to give my parents money..but sometimes too much is bad enuff to do damage to one another..i shall not say much here..but my dear frens will unds me.. :x

i have a good mother.. i dun have a good father.. However my mum has already given everything to him..In fact she gives herself to him.. He has a troubled life now, itz not any of our fault..not even a single tiny bit one.. I have had enuff of his nonsense. He is not fit to be my father. My mum decides to stay beside him..no matter what happens (i suppose...) I have tried every possible ways to save her.. But this is her choice.. If she tinks she is happy about the kind of life she is having with him now.. So be it..

From now on im going to set my priorities right, from now on, I am going to be a happier person who is not going to be afraid of that man anymore.

I never had a father and I am very happy and relieved about it.

wat a boring title.. :p aniwae im soo tired afta all the hard work ive put in at the office these few daes while my buddy colleague was awae on holidaez~~ :x

well well ive moved to my aunt's house (again.. n yes.. they "accepted" me again) i met my cousins on last thursdae n went to parkwae gai gai :) n we went to fish n co for lunch!~ :)

Hee obviously im gona blog about my new yr holidaes!! it has been great!!! had a superb ktv session on new yr day itself n went wild wild wet on the following holiday (todae!!)!! Catch the pics!!

At bout 6.10pm there was a blackout..but nobody came in to see if we r ok or at least, if therez anione inside the room...the lights later came..n went of afta awhile..for several times..service experience wasnt too good coz got one guy came in n checked the switch n everything which was working..n he went out..later the manager came in said "Hey very sorry ah" n he checked the plug a lil bit (like for show) n went out n demanded the other crew to change room for us..but we were leaving already (at 6.30pm)!!!!! So afta tat another guy cane in again n said they r gona change room for us n we said no need..n he asked if want them to refund the half hour which we have missed n Isaac was lil pissed off n said no. ahaha wat an experience ehh..

Tina gave me a pair of tix to wild wild wet (coz isaac is not free to go wif her) which expires TODAY!! luckily me n Veggie r free to go.. :p but i was really too destructive!! the ticket stubs were teared out by me ACCIDENTALLY!!! :p silly me..tina was laughing n said duno if still can use coz the tix itself says tat ticket stub will b voided if removed..oopz..n so decided to go do some fraud on it..went to put some water n tapped ard the area where the tearing line is..too make it look like itz bcoz of the water!!!! :p hahaha but aniwae they accepted it!

It zme n Veggie n his NEW NOKIA PHONE!!!! 3230!!! i wan a 7610 leh! :p

we were so stupid to stop one bus stop before the correct one...in the end we waited for another one to come n hopped on...oni to find out itz not too far awae n could have walked there from the wrong bus stop.. :p

We din take much pics coz the whole area is v wet so cant use my digicam or handphone.. :p aniwae all the rides r v fun!! though there r like oni a few rides..haha...the most shiok one is the err...erm...cant rmb the name!!!! :p itz some white colored slide tat looks like those for skaters!! u slide down from a v steep slope n getz slided up to the opp one..n down again n up a lil again n down again till the thing stops..haha coz the slope was VERY STEEP..tatz y felt like going to fly out of the thing!!~ hahaha....

the others are those normal ones like from the top, u slide in swirls wif water in it n u swirl down into the pool..hee n of coz the Tsunami!! i cant seem to move where i like in the float!!ive got difficulties!!! :p haha lousy me..while the waves cum i juzt get floated to wherever the waves like!! :p n i cant seem to move in the direction i wan like other people were able to!! :p Lousy me again!! :p hahhaah...

Oh n therez tiz cute one which u "cycle in the sky" hahah... itz a thing which u can ride on a trail which is high up above the ground..n itz a 2-seater one..called Sky Rider~ :p felt like toppling over though..but it was shiok as well!! tat was our first ride!! :p

After all the fun n hours, we decided to wash up n have a nice meal togeta~~

Our chicken supreme pan pizza n popcorn chicken!! :) very happie wif the popcorn chix but not very so for the pizza coz itz kinda cold already :x

Later we went to Century Square Nokia Care to try to get Veggiez hp upgraded wif the latest software or somthing..but oni to find out must bring warranty card n the time we went, he had to wait for the phone to be ready oni by tomoro!!! :( so we went awae n he said he will go again in one free morning..And then we went to New York Pizza for some Pizza (obviously!!) haha n had over-sweetened Yam Ice Blended from Sweettalk!! OH no the Bronx pizza wasnt too good as well..felt a lil disappointed n upset about the lousy pizzas we had todae :p todae is really not our Pizza Day!!! :x

BUT!!!todae was a GREAT GREAT DAY!!wif all the fun we had at wildwild wet!! itz been some time since we last went to a REALLY GREAT & FUN DATE! the other dates were nice too but not as fun as today's!! :p heee oh no promised veggie to go escape wif him sometime...soon...coz hez ben longing to go togeta n have fun wif the rides!! :p heee going to keep the promise n go wif him VERY soon..probably within thiz month.. :p hee...aniwae for now...gona slp!! coz tomoro iz another bz dae wif all the crazy load of work piling up when i go office!~!!!! :( muz have enuff energy to start my day fresh n good.. :) i juz finished the 3/4 bar of snickers.. /* punch myself!! Okay!! even though itz just the beginning of a new yr in 2006, i still have some "un-uploaded" pics of 2005!! juz coz ive got no time to blog about these interesting events..tatz y "drag" until now.. :p

CDAC "Ready For School" Project
Okay this is (obviously) a project for school children who r under CDAC's assistance.. Basically during this event, children n parents r invited to cum to their HQ at Tanjong Katong Road, to collect goodie bags (which consists of rice, drinks, school bags, notebook n etc..), collect spectacles (for the kids!!), cut hair (for the kids!!), play games, participate in free mammogram (for ladies) n many more!! Not forgetting taking foto stickers as well!! heee me, Zandy and another 2 gerz Yonghui and Enyun were there to help out in this particular activity..It was fun managing the crowd and doing all the phtoto-takings & sticker-processings..Afterall itz for a good deed as we r volunteers.. :p Look at the pics!!

Venezia
On last wed (28th Dec), Veggie had to go for this lil performance outside a restaurant wif his music frens..The restaurant is called Venezia located at the Singapore Art Museum..Tat nite was a rainy one..n they were "forced" to hold back the performance till 8.45 when the rain then stopped!!but it was a worthwhile wait I felt, coz i get to see them perform live and my goodness his fren, Kim can really play the guitar n keyboard v well!!the ger, lekshmi singz v v well too!!oopz n not forgetting dearest veggie who can sing so so well!! :D hahah...

OMG! itz been "ages" since i last blogged...oh my goodness..ive got loads of pics but have got no time to blog each n every story and event out!~ :(

Tomoro im meetin Benson (finallie)..saturdae hip hop at Sarah's church studio followed by church service (in her church of coz..) Veggie-let is coming back on Saturday nite (HOPEFULLY THE "RUMOUR" IS TRUE!) n will be spending tiz sundae outside.. wif Brownie-let~ :D *HAPPIE*

nex tues there is hip hop class (again!) at jitterbugs! a very famous school in SG for dancing!~ :D wahaha... grrrreeeaaaattt!!~ been wanting to join some dancing or courses which i can enrich my time wif..very happie..annual membership is $50 and per lesson is $12..so if i go every week..for 4 weeks (a month) ill pay $48 for the classes!! which i tink iz not bad..somemore i dun nd to go for every week..ill oni pay when i go for the class.. :) very good..they hav got ballet ozo!! oh er hem..*1 pig tossing n swinging ard here n there in ballet shoes* wahahaha.. :p so nex cumin tues me ginger n ya ting joining sarah to jitterbugs at millenia walk.. zandy cant make it coz shez scheduled a dinner appt wif her fren already.. afta selling awae my Canon Powershot A400 many months ago..was so much craving for a new camera...days without camera were so xing ku.. :p actualli i still had my hp built in cameras but they are realli notin compared to REAL digital cameras!!

so..finally ive got my NEW camera!! Canon Ixus i Zoom 5.0 Mpx!~ errr...it iz not the best camera around..but itz the best for me!i dun need a 7.0 mpx 1, dunohow many times optical zoom aniwae.. :p hee hee... :) got tiz using Courts Ready Finance..they gave me a Canon Selphy CP400 photo printer + free box of 36 photo papers & ink + powershot backpack + Canon 256mb SD Card + extended warranty on the camera & printer..um..not all r free..itz all inside the whole "package" but i pay on credit..so still not too xiong.. :)

so ive taken some pics to post them up here!! check out!

Look at the "Camera Station"! it is tiz little dish which the camera will sit on and charges the battery inside..it is ozo the place where i trf my fotoz to the pc..or connecting to the printer for printing directly from the camera..

Look! these are the loreal products ive been using for the past 2 weeks..these are new ones from France and they plan to launch it in Spore..so they got a number of ppl to try out this range and get feedback and results..tiz nutrigloss line has got PEARL PROTEIN n i tink the fragrance smells v fruity n cute~ :) i like the color of the bottles n most importantly it does make my hair shinier and softer and more moisturized!~ :) Thanx to Zandy for this "2-weeks" lobang.. :p

Took a foto wif Vivian, my buddy specialist..She is married wif her hubby for 5 yrs (i tink) and ive seen him on last sat's planting at bedok reservoir..looks like a humorous man..Vivian is ozo a very cheerful lady..Cute couple!! :)

well well...met up wif Junie on Monday and went to Pasta Brava at Tanjong Pagar Craig Road..had a slightly hard time lookin for it coz itz located very near those small alleys and small roads inside Craig Rd..but nevertheless i finally met up wif June afta so long.. :) fotoz in my hp not uploaded yet..coz cant find a correct and working data cable or IR device for my hp model...weird.. :( u can check out junez blog entry on tiz.. :) She has taken quite a num of pics for the dinner.. :) had a very good dinner there...u realie muz try the err...umm...cant rmb the correct italian name of the linguine i ordered..itz some marinara (seafood pasta) but wif cream sauce..itz simply delicious.. :D i tink junez ravioli (home made pasta) is special..coz it looks like plasters/packets of pasta and they hav got filling inside..her iz the cheesy one..and its VERY cheesy!! :D gd gd..everything there was great..erm..except for the soup which tasted like normal corn soup and the desert tat has almond juice (nope!), syrup (as corrected by the "playful" waiter) in it...BUT the cream caramel "tofu" was very nice! :) so im still rather ok wif it..june din like almond too :p afta dinner i rushed off to meet Kev and was so sorry to June tat i had to leave earli..but she told me she was tired too..so was kinda relieved.. :p Thanx june! :D oh n thanx june for giving the great advice on how to handle the situation ive been experiencing.. (junie noez wat im tokin about..) :)

had a "torturing n stressful" time at the cinema just now!! watching DOOM!~ initially i tot itz some "Save the World Mission" kinda movie especially wif all the soldiers n guns n The Rock!~ :p never did i expect it to turn out to be MY type of show! Blood! Gore! Thrill!~ woohoo!! errr...i sound v gross here but i juz enjoy watching "stress-me-out" movies! even though ill still cover my ears everytime something is coming out anitime, i still absolutely love the crazy excitement!! :) hahahaha! im crazie.. :p aniwae i rate the show 8/10! the 2 points not given is bcoz the ending is not too good~ wont sae much bout the show here..in case u guys haven watch it.. :)

oh tat dae mentioned goin to the Singapore Cup at the Stadium~ yep! we sat at the VIP seats! veggie had got VIP guest passes!! :) i enjoyed the match coz of the "entertainment" the crazi fans gave everyone! n the music tat starts everytime therez a goal!~ :p aiyo... tat Ang Moh & Gim Moh from Woodlands Wellington kp missing the goals man...they had alota goal chances! n so mani ppl juz boo-ed at them.. :p n by now everyone should hav known tat home united won...well, we juz left rite afta the match...notin exciting or anticipating for us to stae aniwae..oh both us got free souveniers b4 leaving! itz the RHB Bank Bear! haha... cute cute~ :)

tiz sat gona go bedok reservoir to plant trees! veggie is one of the ppl involved again...no choice..who ask him to be an events person.. :x n he definitely has to go..n ill juz join him since we will b spending time togeta on sat..oh, n my dept manager "encouraged" everyone to participate in tiz!!! sayin coz the CEO hopes that we will be able to help out n join in wif effort to plant 3500 trees at the reservoir for the NTUC Income 35th Anniversary Clean & Green Week Campaign!hahha...ok la..im alwaes v supportive of community & charity projects..so im juz fine wif it...

my veggie has gone to marketing dept since last mondae..he is now doing something he likes and was (probably) trained in..he is doing events and sponsorship, n i tink itz soo cool!~ compared to being a travel insurance specialist..this is so far more challenging and interesting~ Even though he is now in HQ and im left in tampines, i stil felt very happy for him..especially seeing that he now goes to work happily..

im reading a book called: "25 stupid mistakes couples make"..itz a very cute book..it gives many real life scenarios on the sillie things couples did and thought..sometimes itz probably all about the mindsets u have and it categorizes all them. You will find out tat even the slightest lil opinion u have about ur partner can lead to either a fulfilled relationship or a very sad break-up..

i tink we reali have to learn frm the book.. Itz not whether u have a prob in ur relationship or not, but itz a reality check into ur relationship n see if there is anything u were not aware of, and if u can try to make things better..

itz reali an interesting book and i wana finish it before i return to the library.. hee hee... :p

oh oh, oh no! still got Matilda!!! :p but i can stil read it anitime i wan :p

itz been ages since i last blogged..ive been soo tired everyday after work..suddenlie..no mood n motivation to blog..wondering watz happened to mi..

aniwae im very interested in being a volunteer! i went into the nvpc webbie n its eMatch has got so many voluntary activities in it~ Have just emailed the person in charge of the CDAC Supervised Homework Group and hoping to hear from her soon..I guess I will need to commit only a few hours during weekend, most prob a Saturday..at any of the 8 student services centres, guiding and supervising upper primary students' homework..Sounds so interesting! Actually, teaching and guiding is something I really like to do..Now I'm doing it for free and the fact that I can help those students make me feel extremely satisfied~

Went to esplanade just now with Kev n watched 2 performances for the "World Battle of the Bands" OMG they r sooo good!~ My goodness.. I love the 2nd one: Audio Insanity..The keyboard, drums n elec guitar r soo good~ Wonder if i can form a band wif Frenz4!? :p

I guess thatz about it..I'm tired..wana slp..err so boring rite... :( but im juz getting bored these daez~ :x

Suddenly i feel as if ive got nothing more (interesting) that i can blog about..everyday in my life seems to be just work n work n more work..i kinda find myself dedicating up to more than 10 hrs of work almost everyday and bout 3 hrs of travelling from hm to work n vice versa...tat amounts to a total of 13 hrs outside!! imagine all the energy n focus put in to my job..suddenly i realise..im really worn out.. :(

im not complaining..just wana blog a lil to let loose of my "dedication" abit..i like the challenge of my job but sometimes too much is reali too much..my goodness am i making any sense?? i try my best to leave work earlier, of coz not on the dot but at least earlier than a 7pm..actually i shldnt even whine u c..there r so so many other executives who r working as long or even longer than i do! aiyo..

i guess tatz reali working life...? a life tat can nv b compared to the time when u can manage your own schedule well, for e.g. School Life.. i missed school.. but it will probably take me another 2 more yrs b4 i have enuf to pursue a degree (probably only a percentage of the course fees??).. i realie wana go to UQ in Queensland.. God, I'm praying hard that this day will realie come.. :)

yay! the long-awaited Sept 10th 2005 was here!! heee finalie! im extremely happie n excited about being 21!~ im now an "independent adult" n no need parents' signature!! YAY!! hahahaha... aniwae im so glad that my best frenz (Frenz4) were there to celebrate this special day wif me n here r the fotos~!~

oh these r the lovely candle gifts for the girls~ i got them from my colleague, jessica..she makes very nice wedding n xmas gifts as well!! very "economical" kinda crabtree n evelyn..

WOW!! rainbow!! it was soo funny! our first ride was the "flipper" n we realie flipped! our second ride was rainbow! n at the end of dae coz rainbow was soo fun, i decided i wan another ride of rainbow before we go off! n in the end we had that ride for 3 more times n all thanx to the ah bengs n ah lians who were on the same ride as us...the guy in charge decided to give us more rides since they were finishing the day soon.. :p SO FUN!

oh i forgot to add, those ah bengs were realie super "act-seh", during the rides, they kept standing up n make alota stunts, n when the rainbow was descending so quickly one of the ah bengs nearli fell n luckili he gripped onto the handles quickly! imagine his "OH MY GOD" face!! :p

Last nite n tiz mornin, after some serious thoughts about my life now, i decided to change myself..hmmm okok mb not realie change la..shld sae start a fresher, healthier n happier life from now on.. :)

To "LJZ" who tagged in the chat board, i dun wana tok about my personal life here..reallie not a very nice thing to do especially when it involves bad things..aniwae dun worrie too much..i tink im fine..nope..i WILL be fine frm now on~

I have gotten enuff slp last nite, n woke up fresh tiz mornin..listening to corrinne may..itz been soo long since i last had such time to realie relax n listen to my mp3s, not having to hurry to aniwhere later..i spent the whole dae at home todae..tryin to fix my brownie cheeze (my pc..sad to say..again...) itz not realie completely "fixed" yet coz i still had my video n sound card drivers to go..but i tink im reallie happie to hit on my pc again n surf the net..again..wif no hurry to go aniwhere or do anitin...

even though i dun like to stay at home the whole dae, todae was rather peaceful..but spent alota time on tiz sillie pc..n it seems like i cant install my drivers from the microsoft website..im soo sianned about not having ani cds for my hardwares in the pc..somemore now there is tiz genuine windows authentication..alamak..y y y... :(

i guess on sat n sun ill b quite free..making earrings definitely..coz the charity event is cuming soon on 20th n 21st Aug.. hoping to make as many earrings as possible.. And meanwhile gota make a simple namecard n label tag for the earrings.. :)

ive been quite sick for the past 1 week due to lack of rest n slp n too much oily n heaty food...had been tryin to recover n oni FINALLIE todae im feelin much much better..tatz y woke up pretty fresh todae~ very happi to feel healthier again.. :D n todae ive tried my best to put away all other things n concentrate on loving myself n indulging in the things i would reali like to do..i realised tat being healthier n satisfied wif the things i like to do as an individual, makes mi a much much happier person.. :) So from now on..im goin to try my best to live my life to the fullest, though work takes up alot of my time during the weekdays..i still certainly hope tat being wif frenz n doing my own things or things i like to do at my own time, will let me achieve an even better n more independent personality..

after all these blogging..i realised i stil do tink of tat special someone now n then..~

my pc had been a lil sick for the past 2 months even after re-formatting..sound card got prob..sooo bored..n i decided to reformat it again...n tiz time i reali did a cleanup on it n finalie had it fresh n clean. However stupid me go install nero tatz in a cd compilation of lotsa pgms n got alota adware being installed..n i wasted the whole afternoon happilie installing all my pgms n copying picture n personal folders frm copied cds..oni to find out my antispyware can no longer tahan all the adwares tat had been installed togeta wif nero....

n so i finallie cleaned up my hard disk again n the first thing i did was to go straight to microsoft webbie for the windows updates afta installing the modem..but OMG! the microsoft webbie is SOOOOOO SSSSLLLLOOOOWWWWW! stil trying my best to do other things like bloggin now while waiting for it to finish...n hoping all the updates of the drivers in my pc can be done successfully...coz the last time i couldn install the driver for my sound card from there!! :(

im so sian of brownie cheeze.... :/

im goin to start makin earrings again as the charity event is cumin very soon..kevin tot me keyboard chords n it is easier to learn as ive got some musical background from band since primary school..it really feels gr8 to make nice music from ur fingers!!ooopz..i mean use ur fingers to "press" onto the keyboard..i learnt piano when i was very very young but discontinued coz i tot i couldn make it!!but now..im picking it up again n im very happie.. :D

phew finally im here to do a lil update n in an hr's time im goin to meet tracia for swim at yck!! gota hurry!~ :p aniwae the last time i blogged was um..9th july n itz been exactly 1 week!!well well las sat i went to kbox (yay finallie!) wif kev n had a great time singing there n paradiz klunch food is good!! :) And then we went straight to bedok, his place to slack for the rest of the day n finallie cook "dry" linguine (pasta again!) at nite..n auntie anne (his mum) prefers last last week's pasta as it has got more gravy.. :p she cooked some vege soup for us as well..

the following day on sundae i went to choir wif kev at his church..quite a big group of ppl..n bcoz the group is soo big i din noe how to actually mingle wif them..so juz sat at one corner n "waited" for ppl to cum n tok to mi..actuali i felt kinda awkward..coz of coz i wanted to mingle wif the young ppl there but they seem to have their own lil grps n in the end when we went up into church afta the practice at the music room, i sat wif the aunties coz the young girl charlene who guided me there had to join those "soprano 1s" i duno wat they call tat aniwae..i tried to smile n everything but it was totally awkward as all the ppl there r already catholics n they follow the procedures during the mass n i was like so sillie there din noe wat to do but followed n wondered if im doing the correct thing..it was like nobody was there to guide me, a non-catholic n a newcomer..everyone juz sang on their own n haiz..i shouldn complain..kev wasn able to stay beside me during the whole thing coz hez a tenor..he had to sit at the other side..not tat i kp wanting him to acocmpany me but it was juz soo awkward..coz all the ladies n girls there juz smiled n said hi n tatz it..no doubt they r friendly ppl..but i juz felt too awkward..so conclusion..i wana join kev for church, choir n to sing for God..but im a non-catholic or not a catholic yet to be precise..so i duno watz the correct procedures during the mass n singing..i juz hope ill b able to bring tiz up to kev tonite when we meet up.. :/

ok! enuf of complaining!! :p 13th july was the 2nd month anniversary for me n kev..we had han river at eastpoint n i would sae ill definitely wana go there in future instead of seoul garden!though it wasn cheap either, we sat there for more than 2 hrz juz ate n ate n ate!! :D geee...n then we went to east coast~ the breeze n weather was sooo good! BUT! afta tat we had a lil disagreement on something pretty sillie..won elaborate here..dun like to tok about bad thingz in my blog..n i actually gave him cold shoulder the following day..it was ozo the things he said in sms tat nite afta the disagreement tat i felt soo upset..but we r ok already..i felt tat these r the small lil thingz tat make us move on stronger..things happen, get angry, noe the mistake, cool down n dun do or think sillie things again..aniwae i still love kevin soo much!

i'm actually quite disappointed that none of my frens called to express concerns on e court case.. it's damn stressful for everyone in e foundation now.. reporters n agitated donors are everywhere.. somehow, i'm worried that somebody will spit at me when i step out of e building.. i seriously don't think e foundation is cheating public's money.. everything on e papers is lope sided but i understand that everyone has a choice to believe what they want to.. i hope they understand that if the foundation falls, patients will be the ones suffering.. n Mr Durai is e founder of this foundation... everyone is asking him to step down.. it is like, a father being asked to leave his child... what is this? maybe nobody really understand wat it means.. but i noe for sure, jw understands... i'm really grateful tt he is so supportive n i'm really glad to have him by my side...

Let me give u another reason why i love my hubby-to-be so much.. read what he wrote in e paragraph below...marvel at his english, his maturity and the way he sees and analyses things..

Hmmm.. rather saddened by what happened to Mr T T Durai, undoubtedly NKF's alter ego. Feel like standing up for him for the massive amount of hardwork he has put in for the organisation. My heartfelt respect to someone who is working 7 days a week. Making it a point for staff training in the form of a CEO talk on every Saturday morning to train and groom each and every NKF staff to be at their potential best though most corporate companies have reduced their work schedule to a 5-day week long ago. And take note.. he works 14 hrs a day. Eating and bathing in his office while drifting further and further away from his kins.. Reflect on the massive amt of progress NKF has advanced up the corporate ladder. Who has made all this possible? 30 over years of precious youth time to render his service to NKF, 13 years as its CEO. If he really wanted to splurge public funds, would he have to wait till today? for like 37 years? "For someone who runs a big million-dollar charitable organisation, with a few hundred million in reserves, what is 600k per year? It's peanuts." - Mrs Goh Chok Tong. This man spent his life with NKF, neglecting his loved ones. Do you think he enjoys it? It's only fair to be paid what he ploughs. Furthermore, he's not using excess funds to travel in first class. Doesn't he have the right to choose which airline he wants to fly with as long as he doesn't embezzle with public money to fund his air tix! Yup and he needs to fly firstclass to arrive feeling refreshed to attend meetings overseas. He needs the bathroom fittings to bathe in office everyday considering the 14 hrs spent in office daily. What's wrong with pampering himself a slight bit after all these years of hard work? This man is working his socks off and not taking the money for nothing! There's absolutely nothing wrong with the money he earns, its all down to his efforts and contribution to the organisation. He's no God or any angel from Heaven, mind you. And we're only human! Why can't a CEO have basic human rights and basic personal privacy? And by the way, he's not asking for the sky. What's all this fuss about transparency? How would U feel if I put U under intense and focused scrutiny from the media and public, and expect U to be transparent with whatever U do along with clear and concise financial report abt each and every penny u spend? Goodness, you might as well ask me to show everyone how I use the bathroom fittings to bathe myself? Unreasonable and impossible as it may sound right? Is the public ever made known to this side of Mr Durai's story on national newspapers? Has anyone every empathised and felt for him.. for the amount of insult and torture he and his family is going through right now at this very moment? And yet this determined and strong guy here is still putting on a brave front smiling at his staff and working his very best still. 2 sides of the stories, ladies and gentlemen. Can someone out there answer the queries that has been spinning in my mind for the past 2 days...

Sigh, if only I can have a makeshift platform of my own, for expressing my very own comments and conveying my 2 cents worth to the general public of Singapore. I'd love to stand up and show my negligible support to this man here. I'm not taking sides although I know pple will say my judgement will be biased since my love is one of NKF's staff. But let me kindly remind u that the fact that she's an NKF staff actually allows me to look at this issue on a 2-sided view as compared to the biased one side story U read abt in papers every morning. Fair enough?

I really feel that for every story you hear, there should always be 2 sides of it or even more depending on the parties involved. Never jump to conclusions being one-sided. To take the account of just one side of the story is as good as ordering a plate of steaming hot BBQed stingray and eating only one pathetic side of it, leaving the fleshy underside untouched. Silly analogy right? But definitely makes sense, so I thought. But its SPH we are talking abt.. the authors and manipulators and stereotypers of modern day "kay-poh" Singaporeans. An ordinary Singaporean, without thinking too deep, would easily be agitated with NKF after reading reports published on the newspapers. Esp, splashing headlines for Straits Times, The New Paper.. we are talking abt heavy weight national broadcasters here, mind you.

Perhaps some were right, NKF shouldn't have began its war with SPH, or so to speak, the move was not the perfect one. I can understand Mr Durai's agony and anger at reading reports of NKF embezzling the public funds for personal luxuries, thus the somewhat "rash and automatic" decision of taking legal actions against "whosoever" who wrote that. Just alas... the "whosoever" turns out to be your Almighty one and easily the most influential publicity media in Singapore. Maybe it wasn't a David vs Goliath battle, considering NKF's stature in Singapore "previously"(definitely its reputation had hit a stumbling block after reports this couple of days). But against the masters of the "speech,words" warfare and specialists in manipulating public feelings/support, NKF stood no chance at all, to say the least. It was always going to be a one-sided and dominant approach for SPH on court, considering the "legally powerful " Mr Davinder Singh, who represents them.

And so it turned out.. 2 days of fierce encounters on court. Fiery flares broke out, aggresive indeed with the defendant lawyer firing on all cylinders against the once-confident and now helpless man, who maintained and orchestrated the heartbeat of NKF, the hugely successful, or should I say, the most successful charitable organisation in Singapore. Symphatetic tears were shed from the stands.. not forgetting victorious smiles from SPH supporters all over too. A dock on the wooden hammer and that's it. NKF has withdrew all its charges, case closed. A tattering defeat for the silent heroes who have been saving lives since 1969..

People tend to forget what you have done for them, it's only human we are talking about afterall. As I've learnt from the hard way, a mistake is enough to condemn you and your roll of good deeds. To Err is Human, to Forgive is Divine.. Our silent heroes have taken a setback today, are we going to condemn them and refuse our poor kidney,cancer patients a chance to fight against their illnesses? Wouldn't it be selfish to deprive them of their courage in persevering along the long, hard road of life? They are innocent in this war of words, exactly like innocent civilians being forced to embroil into the tragedies of the battlefield. Now I'm really worried for the charity show results tomorrow. It'll inevitably to be affected, but I sincerely rally to all fellow Singaporeans to be rational in this decisive moment of faith and not ignorant towards our ailing, needy patients.. And I'll do my part to pray for my wish to come true..

e departure of Mr TT Durai is a great loss to the foundation..
he has done wonders for the foundation n if not for him, NKF would not have come so far.. NKF will not be able to let patients enjoy world class standard of dialysis treatment, yielding as high as 95% of working patients..

i sincerely wish him all the best..he has now time to spend with his family and love ones.. time to rest, time to take up a hobby etc..

but i believe everyone in NKF will remember him.. the invaluable lessons he has taught by waking up as early as 4am in the morning to prepare the material for our tranings etc..

he is a good CEO.. no doubt abt it.. SPH has blown things out of proportions.. and the court does not give this gd man a chance to explain in court.. press conference will be at 6.30pm.. watch n decide.."

hahaha we took quite a few picz todae!~ in the dae we went to international plaza for the IT training..well well itz kinda "bo liao" laa coz therez notin much to learn..but aniwae itz slackie n compulsori..so nvm lor.. :p the other colleagues wore so casually!~~ duh!! we weren't informed tat we can wear casual..so in the end oni me n kev wore formal n looked soo obiang.. :p gee..

kandy mass msged us bout withdrawing 5 IEs out from the july team excellence chalet..we were worried coz we dun wish to go in july..as i need to cover foreign maid plan 4 duties in august coz sophia (an admin staff) is goin to be on 1 mth leave..n kev will be doin jessica's stuff on travel ins in august as well..some more i wana bunk in wif shirin n she won wana go in august as the august team excellence chalet falls on her bdae chalet...so ya lor..we reali have to go on july..oh itz on the 21st n 22nd~~ which is cuming v v sooon~ :)

aniwae at nite mi n kev went to PS n then the art museum~ not reali an exciting trip there coz the art work are not ALOT n most of them we dun unds!!! hahaa...ya lar..no art cells mah :p hee but nonetheless we got to c those beautiful oil on canvas paintings on the 1zt level...reali v nice~ :) Finallie for the dae we went to long john n had dinner n follwed by esplanade "for the stars"!! hahaha..reali love tat place..can juz enjoy the sea breeze n stars n company~ :)

yesterdae was indeed a very happie dae!! hee..slpt till "bao bao" n surfed net..was so slack!!hee..reali enjoyed slacking at home..n then met up wif tracia at orchard to get hazel's stuffs n finalli off i go to kevin's place..

In evening, we went to his church n i was sooo impressed with it~ itz a catholic church off changi road n the deco and ambience was soo WOW!! itz the 1zt time ive gone to a catholic church n prob tatz y im so amazed by how in-sync all the procedures are n of coz the ppl's devotion!! itz reali very much different from a christian church!! as in much more complicated but very proper i must say..we went wif his mum n i can reali c tat she loves him alot..felt so sweet n happi to c tat~ n ive decided to follow kevin to church every week from now on..even if itz at bedok.. :)

After church we went to ntuc to buy some stuffs for our linguine at nite!his mum went hm n waited for us..Finallie when we reached home, we started to prepare the ingredients n cooked..Kev was sooo cute! he was like standing beside me like some trainee n im like the chief cook~ :p suddenli felt soo xing fu n happie to cook for him n his mum~ i cooked linguine which consists of the prego mushroom pasta sauce, cream of mushroom n chicken, onion, breakfast ham n canned mushrooms!! hee..his mum said the sauce was very nice!! n i was soo happie she liked my cooking!! n of coz kevin was like praising n praising until i felt sooo proud!! OOOOPPPZZZ!! haha...im so glad they liked the food.. :D

His mum then cut fruits for us n oopz she asked if we r sitting all day in the office n i told her ya..then she asked mi to do more exercises coz we dun move about often in office..hahahaha..n she said must eat more vergetables n fruits, though my skin is good, must keep it up as well.. :) finallie i tink she iz reali a nice lady..n im soo happie tat itz just so..coz i dun hav to wori about not getting along wif his mum n all tat!! :) oh! his mum's name is Anne.. heee... :)

Afta all the food n chat, me n kev went back to his room n reali couldn bear to go home..especially being full n "sleepy" afta a long dae..realie felt soo blissfully in love wif kev n so happie to noe tat hez feeling the same wae too..ive nv felt so "safe" n "settled" before.. :)

Look yesterdae i went to raffles city wif my colleagues afta an "orientation session" for the induction pgm we r supposed to attend..i saw Daphny at Lush V n fancied this pair of kitten heels! she promised a 15% discount n tatz y i bought it..well well..i was tryin to look for a pair of "not-so-high" heels for work n i tot this is sooo pretty n sweet!! can wear for work n can wear for weekends!! i was sooo "over-joyed" coz finalie found my "TAT PAIR OF SHOES".. heee....

ive been reaching home late these daes..okok..mondae i reached hm at bout 8pm coz i had to work til 6:20 tat dae~ n then on tues i reached hm at 11!~ was at work til 5:20 n went off to The Village at china square wif kevin ONLY to find out tat the promotion has ended!!SO SAD!n becoz itz near month end we din wana waste money so we went to the nearby Banquet n settled our dinner there~~ And then we walked all the wae frm raffles place to esplanade~ Had a really wonderful time togeta~ (jus like everytime :p)

Aniwae on wed we went off work togeta (as usual since we r in the same section nw n knock off at the same time) n we took the train togeta n we alighted at BEDOK togeta!!! hahah tat meanz i went to his place..but since i din wana go hm so itz fine~ We watched yamakasi (some weird french movie about these 7 guys climbing building like monkeys) n then out to his living room for Channel U Superstar!!His mum made us dinner i duno wat the thing was called..it was a dough wif black pepper chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber n lotsa chilli sauce!~It was prob the 1zt time i tried to "stuff" myself wif the tomatoes coz i din wana show to his mum i won eat tomatoes!~ Ooooopz!! BUT!~ the dinner was realli nice!!n it came wif pumpkin soup!!n i felt like i juz visited some "cottage"~ the food his mum prepared was soo "home-made" n nice!~ hee..m i tryin to "por" her here?? maybe~ but itz true..the food was made wif alota "cheng yi"!~ :p very very sweeet mum~

Finallie todae! Kev din cum for work~ he was SICK!! arghhh...i felt soo worrried for him i went to his plc n visited him afta work~ his temperature was soo high n i felt very upset seeing him cough n everything~ He mus have felt awful..n watz worse! hez on MC tomoro as well!! tat meanz i won c him at work for tomoro ozo~~ Felt extremely sad but i guess itz a gd idea to stae at hm n hopefullie he will recover by tomoro..so we can meet up happilie n healthily on sat~ My pooor pooooor veggie~ Hope he is going to b fine~ :/

im posted out! afta juz 1 SHORT WEEK doin survey at insureline!!~ actuali im posted "back" to insureline laa..but bcoz in future ill b doin very different thingz, im soo absolutely excited!~ initially i wanted to go to information management dept doin IT stuffs..or life insurance dept doin underwriting..BUT!~ im now given an equally-good opportunity as well!~ at insureline dept as a "FOREIGN MAID INSURANCE SPECIALIST" wat a "post"~ at first i was like quite sad coz i tot i was goin to MAKE/RECEIVE CALLS FOR THE REST OF THE 2 YEARS!~ but afta the boss told me "hey so u r goin to b a specialist!~" i was like OOHHH!!well well..im lovin it as soon as i found out it is a real challenging job!hee..will b doin application approvals (a lil underwriting here!!), claims, renewals, answering escalated calls, replying to emails n etc~~ n all of these for foreign maid insurance..

actuali vivian (the ger whose duties im takin over of) told mi travel ins n foreign maid ins are kinda "solely owned" by insureline as most of the applications cum through online or from calls..so therez basically not much of ani further escalation afta us (as in dun really further escalate to general ins dept), so we practically handle everything there for travel n f.m. ins...i was like soo happie when i found out im goin to learn ALOT OF THINGS in time to cum!~ especially in f.m. ins as itz goin to b my specialisation~ n well..will need to learn all other products as well though~~ In the meantime ill jus enjoy my "training" listening in to call conversations n learn as many stuffs frm the ppl there n "DO MY BEST" laaa hahaha~~ im likke laughin n laughin to myself le..at least now i hav a focus n a responsibility~

Aniwae so far oni me n andrew posted under han eng (our immediate boss), kandy n matthew under yang kwang in customer relations in insureline~ n i hope the other IEs will get posted out to their desired depts asap~ so they will feel the same way as i do, to look forward to really learn things n hav a focus~ Same goes to Kev, hope he goes to corporate planning dept as he "wished" for~ n for now~ will juz enjoy my 8.30am-5.20pm workin hrs wif kev coz we r in the same section nw though hez stil gettin inbound calls..~ AND!! tomoro we r goin to "The Village" at China Square for a "lil" celebration for my "fantastic new post" as he sms-ed!~ hopefully the "1-for-1" promotion is still on...so can save money!!cant wait for pay dae (again!~)

OH!~ tomoro we r attending the CRO Training in the noon as well..happie happieee!!!im missing tat nice tall sweet cute funnie love-me guy!! (ooopzzz!!) cant wait to c him in office tomoro!~ :)

hmm..im feelin better now afta a "goodie 2 hour rest"..was feelin sooo sick for the whole noon!!well..tomoro iz mornin shift so muz try to slp earlie~~ aniwae im joining long-ge (png leong laa :p) for his charity event at the national youth park on 20th and 21st august..hez giving mi a booth for mi to sell jewellery there!!!im soo interested n excited about it n will start to make jewellery from nex week onwards~ n hopefullie frenz will b there to support also~ aniwae itz a charity event, so will b happie enuf if im able to sell the jewellery n raise funds for the youth~ :) (suddenli i sound so "charitable" huh) :p

haha i went to Income's SRC annual D&D at raffles convention centre (part of swissotel laa) last nite~ it was reali an enjoyable one..actuali at first i tot tat it will b pretty "traditional" coz itz NTUC INCOME, a company tat consists of alot of middle-aged employees and "qian beis"!~ but to my surprise i was laughing n smiling n realy enjoyin the whole thing!! (maybe itz bcoz kev was just right beside me :p)

Aniwae when kev n i reached there, we couldn see the ppl we were supposed to sit togeta..n we just went ard n waited b4 the whole thing starts..n then finaly when we met them, kenneth n chen boon saw us holding hands n they were like "EH!!.... OHH!!" hhahaha itz was very paiseh n malu coz when the ppl from our grp (the 8 of us) knew we r togeta, they din reali sae much of anitin..but now kenneth n chen boon were like so surprised n kpt teasing us..

well well..insureline sent in their 4 prompuans for the "idol" contest, income bagus!~ i tot tat their performance was the best!!realie!they reali got the "idol" factor..but i guess they reali had alota supporters from insureline..However!they came in 2nd oni..the bollywood fusion from the call ctr came in first though~

sounds so traditional n sillie: LOVE LIFE but wat else can i sae other than a "love life" hahaha..aniwae ive been unbelievablie happie bout being wif kev n im like tellin everi close frenz im so happi!~ ok la..shouldn blah blah blah so much about him but i juz cant help it!n apparently we r in insureline! but we r in diff sections..so somehow we rnt able to work on the same shifts togeta all the time..but stil being able to c each other everidae itz defnitely a lucki thing!~n hez rite!~ itz all fated~~ we had a great 1 whole mth of "honeymoon" seeing each other and being togeta almost everidae during the course and exactlie afta tat we had to b in diff sections (though in the same dept) n work on diff shifts for everi alternate week!~ n by being "forced" to work on shifts and in diff sections, we r able to "yearn" for each other more~ hahaha hez so cute~ (oopz now i sound soo sillie!)

but life has been VERY good wif kev ard~~ we hav gr8 moments evri now n then, n we share alot!~~ realie love his everything~ LALALA..im so happieeeeeee!!!! :D (sound soo sillie n proud again!!! :p)

OMG I LURRVVEE clubbing!!! My my my goodness..yesterdae was cool lorr..there were at least more than 50 ppl queuing up at devils bar at 12am n serene juz brot us in like tat...WITHOUT COVER CHARGE n QUEUING!~

hmm.. serene is a dancer (still) n is my primary+secondary school fren~ shez 1 hell of a havoc zha bor lorr..n definitely cool to go ard clubbing wif her~ At her age, she earnz enuff for LV, Gucci, Prada, Coach... but of coz she dances to get those earnings..n yeah she dances very well n all her hokkien+english+mandarin+cursing+fatjokes reai entertained us a whole lot..Me, Tina n Isaac (Tinaz fren) went to look for her at plaza parkroyal at first n we were stayin at a pub there b4 goin dwn to devils..Tat pub was full of uncles n aunties lorrr...n even some fillipino looking people..My goodness we were amazed by her "social extent"!~ Then she told us she dances in tat pub b4 n some of her ex bf's frenz r there..so we stayed there but it was REALLI relaxing n fun enuff but compared to devils, i tink i was even more amazed..amazed by how mani ppl she noes there.. im back wif mi "new blog look"!~ haha duno how mani times have i changed the appearance of mi blog..btw i realised the statcounter thing iz gone!~ OMG!~ howhow..gota get anota tracker already..hmm i seem to love each new look ive done to mi blog more!hee tiz 1 iz wif a very peaceful scene whereby tat lil house there mite b mi future "mansion" :p heehee..aniwae i love the color n the flowery peach thing..all from adobe photoshop cs!~ btw i saw on minmingz msn nick tat ADOBE IZ ACQUIRING MACROMEDIA!~ Big news!~

n i got back mi pc on wed IT IS FAST, GOOD, ERROR FREE n ULTIMATE BAGUS!~ heee..thanx to shirinz hubby, redwan (if im not wrong)!~ n brownie cheeze iz revived at the rate of FOC!~ heee where got such good thing huh...well files in brownie cheeze had been terribly corrupted by anota partition called brownie..the masterboot volume all got mixed up already..heng ahh...i tot muz get a new HDD already :X aniwae im VERY HAPPY tat mi pc iz alrite now!~

i was making some jewelleries for the past 2 daez..they consist of REAL austria crystals, REAL semi-precious stones, good quality beads n (but) artificial (fake la) water pearls..i have 4 diff color of pearls..well when the accessory iz being created completely, the "artpiece" will look almost exquisite!~ HAHAA im juzt promoting..but aniwae ill try to finish up a few more n create a lil collection wif the "brand" named "Audrey"..i personally love tiz name n if i were to have a boutique in future ill name her Audrey..i shall post up the images of the jewelleries ive made here, so if u r interested u can leave a tag or email mi at mi new email: fiona.brownie@gmail.com (mi old emails r still existing though)

The other "ingredients" ive got to incorporate into the jewellery making: Artficial water pearls, normal n very gd quality beads, semi-precious stones, rice-like beads, large real crystals, artificial crystals which r used when i first started to learn how to make jewellery n those taiwanese books tat ive used to learn in the past n which seem to have been out-dated~~ :p

Pheww examz finally over!~ (though itz juz 2 paperz~~) n im pretty exhausted by now wif all the lazy napping, lil-studyin-in-day, piah-ka-ai-see-studyin-late-at-nite n tuition terrors for the past 2 weekz!!

Time..it juz flash pass like tat lor..im juz extremely tired n somehow regretful tat i din make super full use of tat 2 crazi weekz..hmm..but nex wk iz 1 more n final week of holidae!~ Yeah..im so bo liao bloggin on such boliao stuffz..:p

sundae iz mmts's bdae!~ we r celebratin on sat!~ n as usual ill go to his plc to stay on fri nite till sundae he goes bk to camp at nite!~ alrite..honestly speakin i haven got the meanz to get him a good present tiz yr..(last yr i gave him an adidas watch) coz money for mi these 3 mthz iz horrible..im oni receivin an allowance/mth n itz as lil as half of mi original pay (which ill b gettin oni afta i finish mi course @ nyp)i gota tiz n tat n eat~ n i oni get half of the tuition fee for 1st month of tuition assignmentz..so far ive received 1/2 of 1 assignment..n next week gona get anota 1/2 of the other..hopefully it can tahan till i get mi pay at the end of the mth..yeah im whining!~ whine whine whine... :X

so deardear bx "kindly agreed" to allow mi to get him the present when i hav the meanz..but im definitely gettin him a creamy cake which he requested!~ HEEE...our pgm for tat dae will b roughly as follow:

1) Kbox in late mornin @ cineleisure
2) "shopping"
3) Movie (Infection)
4) "shopping" n "floating ard"
5) V8 dinner!~
6) Collyer Quay, Boat Quay, Clarke Quay n Robertson Quay!~ YAY!~ Jive into the grooves of late nite!~ sooo sweeet n romantic..

but it all seems bit "too planned", but hopefully thingz will juz go smoothly tat dae n b able to celebrate happili wif mmts for hiz 22nd bdae!~ :)
