Snow City Outing
Went to snow city wif kevin n mei mei..din really spend much time there but overall it was fun.. played the slide twice n accompanied mei mei play those silly snows.. throwing them all over kevin.. :p hahahaha :p :p
Was so happy tat mei mei enjoyed the outing.. afta the snow, we went to macdonalds!! :p haha so fattening but nice :p
Star Wars Exhibition at Science Ctr
Went yesterday. The entrance into the exhibition... actualy im not a star wars fan at all.. but i thought it was interesting to look at the stuffs there like those characters n places of empires.. n pictures.. paintings.. etc.. I couldn't really judge if the exhibition was a good one.. but i felt that it was ok for me.. not too many ppl there i believe iz coz the whole thing is gona end soon in april.. :x
I took fotos n now then realised tat i did not take all 6 episodes' movie posters!!! :x arghh wat a waste. :/ but aniwae i managed to take loads of paintings.. which im posting a few here oni.. soo many.. how to post all of them here!!! :p
hahah as u can see at the top r pics of empires? or some castles or palace.. honestly as mentioned, not being a star wars fan, i seriously duno many things there in the exhibition!! but seeing kevin getting happy whenever he something there, i felt happy too :)
okie then on the 2nd row u see the "Foley Studio".. well foley (now then i noe) means sound effects.. we did a demonstration of the sounds (all combined together) by using things like fake vege in a basket, irritaing scrubs on those tin/aluminium lids.. sounds of human in pain n many others.. i was one of those doin the demo.. so funnie!! was given this yellow colored rod-like thing n inside seems to have beans or rice or somthin.. n was asked to juzt roll the thing horizontally to make some noise.. the whole thing was really interesting.. especially when the guy compared the sound effects we made, with the real sound effects they put in and lastly the real sounds from the movie itself..we had a good laugh! :D
oh n do u see the fat looking thing looking like some sexy reptile dowager lying on her couch?? haha so cute.. duno who she/he is though :p :p oh n do u see these lil orange aircrafts? so cute rite? :p duno wat they r in the movie though.. hahaha... :p
Finally a glimpse at my SHORT SHORT HAIR!!! i juz cut my hair ok..? received many comments.. good n neutral ones.. :p so far nobody tells me itz uglie.. (which i hope they have been honest!! :p) good ones r "ur new hair looks fresh n great!" n neutral ones r "i prefer ur long hair.. but still u look good in this.." :p :p kevin said i look like some mushroomie head.. :x :x haha.. i tink my hair is really too short.. but itz better for me coz i will look fresher n cleaner :p coz long hair alwaes give me loads of probs.. :p dry split ends.. silly curls at the ends.. long time to manage everyday.. phew wif this new hair i feel tat i dun have to worrie bout my hair woes animore! :p hahah sounds like some ad.. :p
okok.. now to serious things.. went to zandy grandfather's wake on fridae nite.. saw tat she was okay.. everybody else in the family was ok too.. n im relieved.. stayed there for about 2 hrs.. n saw that they has to for those rituals almost every 15 mins...seems tiring though.. aniwae today is the funeral process.. hope tat she is fine.. :x
n tiz morning went to Roy's resting plc at Serangoon (somewhere in paya lebar).. Roy was a fellow IE from my batch.. n i remembered him as a quiet n decent guy alwaes sitting at one corner.. he had a first class degree from UK.. seemed like a very intelligent guy.. still remembered him offering me some sweets when i was alone in the lab rushing project coz my home pc was down.. :x Today oni me, kev, PL, ah boon, kenneth, xin jie n sabrina went there.. heard tat andrew n matt will be goin next week.. hope he rests in peace n be blessed by God..
okokay... so so i passed my bcp exam! nothing too great..but still it was quite an achievement for me as i din really study for the exam.. :x hope tat ill pass ComGI n PGI (my next 2 papers) for me to get the CGI cert.. :p pls pls God bless me!!! :x

omg.. recently i found myself not having enuf rest, not able to do things at my own pace, getting sick, suddenly having so many things to do at one go.. Oh NO!! i dun have time!! pls give me more time!!!!! :x :x

Itz our VERY 1ST V Dae on 14th Feb 06.. we have already arranged to meet up tat nite afta work for dinner.. :) And suddenly in the afternoon somebody came to my desk n asked if im fiona n therez flowers for me at the door.. :O
Red Gerberas, Golden Teddy Bear & "I Love U" Balloon!! :D i was sooo shocked!! coz i nv expected tat in the office!! And then i saw a card tat saes "To my dearest Brownie".. :p i knew itz Veggie!! (who else!? :p) hee.. these gifts are from Far East Flora.. think he ordered them online.. n he refused to tell me how much the whole package cost.. seems like v v expensive.. :x BUT STILL i love them!! actualli im not the kind who LURVES flowers n bears these kinda traditional vdae gifts.. but i juz love the idea of receiving them coz itz sooo full of love n tonnes n tonnes of sweetness.. :p
Kevin reserved a place at Venezia (@ Art Museum) - the place where he alwaes performs live on Wednesday nites.. :) but due to no availablity of seats we had to wait awhile even though we reached there on time at 8pm.. n the ops manager noes kev so somehow i felt that she was like "as chin chai as possible" like tat.. it was fine for us to wait awhile more but the scary thing tat silly manager wanted at first was to have us sittin wif another couple on a 4-seater table! So STUPID! some more the guy from the other couple was not too comfortable of the idea coz therz really no privacy man! n the manager thought me n kev were ok but in fact we were not at all.. n we spared a thought for the other couple also aniwae.. n tat silly woman just kept saying "Please understand me!" OMG! i duno n then somehow we were given the 4-seater table n the couple had to wait for theirs coz they din come on time..
n so me n kev went to sit there (outdoor) happily n suddenly after we have already settled dwn n wanted to order food, that stupid manager came to us again n said - (as if it is right for her to demand tat out of us) - tat she is expecting a bigger group from the airport n we had to give them our seats.. TATS SO HORRIBLE!! N TERRIBLE! N INCORRIGIBLE! she then added that she has already gotten us seats inside the restaurant. But kev din wan coz he wanted to enjoy the performance while having dinner.. so kev was like asking if i wana change restaurant. then the manager wanted to show thatz shez sincere, she said she could bring out the table n chairs but we felt awkward coz we dun wana look like we r creating a scene.. some more we kinda had enuf of her nonsense already.. so stupid rite.. itz all about her management.. but too bad it SUCKED! oopz :p i sound so crude now.. :p im sorry but itz a fact tat shez really lousi! n still i felt tat bcoz she noes kev n tatz y shez tryin to b as sui bian as possible.. so ya in the end we wanted to go off finally.. n she was about too get her waiter to bring out the table n chairs n put it at some lousi spot in the outdoor area.. everyone was looking at us.. i felt so paiseh.. n i told kev i reallie dun wana stay there animore.. he was totally fine wif it.. coz he din like wat happened there aniwae.. booooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we walked all the way to Selegie from art museum.. n finally settled to have our vdae dinner at Mr Bean's. Felt happier there even though tat place was not as comfy as Venezia.. but i felt at peace.. Mr Bean's was full but still felt tat there was "enuf space" for us..n the food was GREAT! :p i believe should b so much better than Venezia.. :p price as well..

Did some volunteer work yesterdae morning.. itz a company social visit n comprises mainly Contact Ctr staff, headed by the manager: Ms Pauline Low. Can see that the whole thing was quite a success, especially the performance n activities for the residents there.. :) There were speeches given by the CEO of Income n Chairman & CEO of the Moral Home. Oh, there's also a big HongBao presented to the home.. as Income supports the home yearly..

Had a really wonderful day.. went to moral home, cleaned up hammiez cage, had home-cooked dinner by kevz mum, learnt 3 new songs on keyboard.. :) So happy!~ :D kev said im good at it.. i felt so proud of myself! :D hahah... going to practise more to be even better at it. :) For now, goin to prepare to make "breakfast" for myself mei mei.. :p n then wash clothes n then go kevz plc again! we r goin church todae in the evening.. :) Bye!
